Preston manager Alex Neil had nice things to say about Marcelo Bielsa and Leeds United after Leeds beat Preston 2-0 at Deepdale. Of course, since Leeds did the double over Preston, it would only be logical for him to be complimentary of the other team.

Neil said:

They’re probably the only team I’ve paid a compliment to this season but I think they’re excellent and I enjoy watching them. Whatever you do against them they’ve got an alternative.

If there’s a team in the league you don’t want to go against with 10 men it’s these. They use the ball and the pitch very well.

Neil also said that he thought that Preston was still in the game before going down to 10 men, so perhaps his judgement isn’t the best.

On to the links.
