Oh look, another match to be shown live on Sky TV, and another match’s time moved for TV.
At least it’s still on Saturday, right?
| #LUFC have been selected for TV again, with our clash against Sheffield Wednesday being shown live on Sky Sports at the later time of 5:30pm
— Leeds United (@LUFC) March 8, 2019
Per the club’s official website:
Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday 13 April has been selected for live broadcast on Sky Sports.
The game has been pushed back and will now kick-off later than originally scheduled.
Leeds United v Sheffield Wednesday
Fixture date: Saturday 13th April 2019
Fixture kick-off: 5.30pm
Venue: Elland Road
I don’t think anyone is surprised to see this Yorkshire Derby moved, I’d honestly have been surprised if it wasn’t moved for TV.
Does this change anyone’s plans? At the very least, the switch to 17.30 from 15.00 is the easiest change they can make, at least the kickoff is only delayed by a couple of hours, not moved forward to Friday, which can cause havoc for people traveling in for the match, so that’s a little better, right?
