Morning Leeds-in for 21 March: Pablo Hernandez is really good and the numbers prove it

Pablo Hernandez is really good. Of course, all Leeds fans know this, so it’s nice to see the numbers back up what we see every week.

Yeah, the Championship might have played a few more matches up to this point in the season than some of the other leagues, but wow. Hernandez has more key passes than anyone else in any of the top leagues in Europe, and it’s not even close. Rodrigo Soares of Portugal’s C.D. Aves is the next closest with 85 key passes, and James Maddison of Leicester City is third with 84.

Sometimes I think we’re spoiled at Leeds to have someone with the quality of Hernandez at the club. He’s so good.
