Morning Leeds-in for 5 February: Leeds passing stats confirm the team’s ability to control a match

Right now, if you were to ask the average Championship fan to name the club that passes the ball around the most, they’d probably say Leeds. And they would be correct.

The passing stats confirm what the “eye-test” tells us about Leeds this season: that the team keeps the ball on the floor and controls possession. If anything, this should back up what Bielsa has been saying all along about the team needing too many chances to score. Leeds need to convert more from the chances that are created, but it’s a better position to be in than needing to create chances, right?

On to the links.
