Barry Douglas knows a thing or about getting promoted to the Premier League after last year, but he’s hesitant to compare it to the atmosphere at Leeds.
“What we’ve got this season is special and unique." ️ #lufc https://t.co/IE5u640cOf

Douglas keeps getting asked about his time at Wolverhampton last season, that saw the club get promoted back to the Premier League, and how it compares to this year at Leeds. Telling LUTV, he said:
It’s different teams and I’ve had this question 100 times but you can’t compare.
What we’ve got this season is special and unique. The spirit we’ve got is something you rarely come by in your career. It’s a special time and hopefully we can create special memories.
This season does seem unique, from Marcelo Bielsa, to ‘Spygate’ and everything in between, the Leeds-Against-the-World mentality has gone into hyper-drive, meaning that this season will already be one of the most memorable seasons of Leeds football in recent years. The team does seem uniquely bonded in a way that seems almost quaint in the modern game.
No matter what happens, we’ll all remember it, that’s for sure.
