For a full review of the game, read Pete’s full recap here.
Leeds United produced their worst performance of the season in one of their biggest games of the season to lose 3-1 at home to Norwich City. Two goals from Mario Vrancic either side of a Teemu Pukki goal gave Norwich an unassailable lead before Patrick Bamford got a late consolation on his return from injury,
Time now to look at each player and how they performed. As always you can tell me how wrong I am @mightywhitespod or @ThruItAllLUFC on twitter.
STARTING LINE-UP
Kiko Casilla - Was done by deflections on the first couple of goals but was poor on the third goal, looked as if it took a deflection from the stand but he still should have done much better. Played his teammates into trouble with some of his passing which wasn’t up to the standard you would expect from him. 5/10
Also if BPF had of made that error for 3rd goal that Casilla made tonight he'd have got crucified on here #lufc

Luke Ayling - The calls to drop Ayling have been getting louder for weeks and this performance did him no favours in that regard. Lots of errors, and making the same error repeatedly in possession. Lost possession in the build up to the second goal in a poor area before being rescued by Liam Cooper. 3/10
Time for Ayling to step aside. If we’re honest he hasn’t been good for about a year. No one noticed last year cos we were wank. Get shack in.

Pontus Jansson - Poor play to give the ball away when trying to dribble out, followed by giving away a soft free-kick lead to the first goal and set the tone for the evening. Didn’t ever do enough to get close to making up for the error. 4/10
You can’t give 2nd in the league 2 goals with stupid mistakes. Criminal from Jansson and Forshaw for the first 2 goals. We need to bounce back and we will. #LUFC

Liam Cooper - The best of the Leeds defence, not that it is saying a great deal. Was solid enough and least to blame of the starting back four. 5.5/10
Ezgjan Alioski - Made a really bad error to give the ball away in the box, got away with it as Max Aarons shot was pulled wide. Didn’t offer much going forward either despite being moved forward to the left-wing for the second half. 4/10
It's a bit sad that we have Alioski when we could have had James playing today #lufc

Adam Forshaw - (Disclaimer - Marcelo Bielsa can pick whomever he wants and definitely knows better than me) Everyone I know/spoke to/saw on Twitter thinks that Kalvin Phillips is a better DM than Adam Forshaw. Forshaw gave the ball away terribly in the lead up to both the second and third goals. He still made 4 tackles and completed 93% of his passes. The kind of match that shows you the data can hide a players weaknesses. 3/10
CBA listing everything wrong with that performance. Bielsa can pick who he wants to, I trust him. That trust does not mean I can understand picking Forshaw over Phillips. #lufc #MOT

Jack Harrison - When he has a poor match he is completely anonymous. Today, he was completely anonymous. When he got the ball he did nothing with it and seemed to only want to head down blind alleys. 4/10
Got to admit Norwich well and truly did a job on us . First time I have seen a team grind out the belief in our players. We looked beaten early on . I think Alioski and Harrison starting has now to be questioned. The team can't dwell on this .#lufc #MOT

Mateusz Klich - Had a couple of shots and made some good runs in the first half. Could have easily forgot he was on the pitch in the second. Depressingly that adds up to better than most today. 5/10
The only positive you can take from that is Bielsa is bound to make changes now. Hopefully he sees how completely useless Forshaw and Ayling were and gives Klich a rest. #lufc

Tyler Roberts - Got a start in the number 10 role and initially looked lively. Had a lobbed effort which he should have done better with before being cleared out by Tim Krul (who was channelling Harald Schumacher’s challenge on Patrick Battiston). Second half was poor and it was no shock to see him subbed off. 5/10
Tyler Roberts needs more game time. Harrison needs less. #lufc

Pablo Hernandez - Almost feel guilty for saying this but he was really bad tonight. Constantly giving the ball away, offering very little going forward or defensively. Personally I would not have subbed him at HT because he could still create something from nothing, but his performance deserved the hook. 3.5/10
Pretty filthy night at Elland Road. Complete damp squib. Lot of frightening performances, not least from Hernandez #lufc

Kemar Roofe - Looked really pissed off. Didn’t get much service but in truth he was poor when he did receive the ball. Not as poor as some but could be under pressure for his place after tonight. 4.5/10
Bamford needs to start next week. Roofe looks a bit tired and maybe a stint on the bench will refresh him. Still 2nd and well and truly in our hands #mot

SUBSTITUTES
Jack Clarke (For Harrison, HT) - Not at his best but did beat his man on occasion. Leeds didn’t get him on the ball enough. 5.5/10
Barry Douglas (for Hernandez, HT) - Another who put in a performance which wasn’t great. Good ball in for Leeds’ goal and getting an assist is something I suppose. 5/10
In the summer I couldn’t believe wolves let Douglas go!! Especially for 3 million. Now I know why! #lufc
— Johnny F (@JF_LUFCmod) February 2, 2019
Patrick Bamford (for Roberts, 63mins) - Did well to get on the scoresheet with a good header. Hit the bar with an effort just before the goal. Some nice link up play as well. Depressing to say about someone who only played 30mins but today’s Man Of The Match. 6/10
1 positive note from today's game bamford is back!!! Keep him fit and he will score plenty of goals #LUFC
