While a move to the National League might be a step down from playing in the Championship, Huffer’s move to Barnet is still a good step for both him and the club. Leeds are obviously set a keeper right now, with both Casilla and Peacock-Farrell in the lineup, and Huffer getting a run at a National League team will give him a chance to shine in a less comfortable environment.
This move also allows Kamil Miazek to be the full-time starter at the Academy level, and will give the coaches there a chance to see how Miazek can handle those duties.
Huffer is young and talented, and he should be playing every week, even if it means he goes on loan. You can never have too many talented young keepers.
