Polish second tier side Ruch Chorzow have confirmed that Leeds United have had a bid accepted for 17-year-old attacking midfielder Mateusz Bogusz.

The tweet from the club translates (badly) as: “in a quiet pre-approved offer of Mateusz Bogusz, composed by Leeds United F.C. We look forward to the design of the transfer agreement.”
He’s also following a couple of interesting people on @instagram too. #LUFC @Cli5hy pic.twitter.com/qZ2KriSFG4

Bogusz made his debut in March 2018 as a 16-year-old and since then has made 34 appearances, scoring six goals. He has developed well with regular football at senior level and has caught the eye of plenty of scouts.
Bogusz is expected to train with the first team under Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road, but will initially play for the u23 side, which is similar to Aapo Halme when he first arrived at the club.
There is currently no word on a fee for the Poland u19 international but his contract is up at the end of the current season so the fee isn’t expected to be too large.

There were reports from Poland earlier in the day that the deal was complete, these appear to have jumped the gun, although it is expected the deal will not take long to complete. Bogusz had been heavily linked with Brighton & Hove Albion as well as Leeds and was offered a trial at Napoli earlier in the season which was apparently rejected by his club.
Great signing for Leeds United. One of the most promising youth players in Poland. https://t.co/qKPD6juDx6

This is a signing that we can’t pretend to know much about, however his reviews from Poland/the dreaded Youtube compilations have been very positive so we could have a real player on our hands.
