Jack Clarke has turned heads at Leeds United this year with his performances coming off the bench. He finally got a chance to be in the starting XI against Derby County last Friday night, and he took the chance well, getting an assist on the opening goal and looking extremely dangerous the entire night.
And so with the Derby match being on television, it wasn’t just Leeds fans that were impressed this week. Clarke made the official EFL Team of the Week.
Here it is, the #EFL Team of the Week, managed by @BuryFCOfficial's Ryan Lowe!

The official EFL site had this to say about Clarke’s performance against Derby:
One of several standout performers on the night as Leeds United beat fellow promotion hopefuls Derby County, Clarke continues to shine for Marcelo Bielsa’s side. The 18-year-old was a constant thorn in the Rams’ side, and surely has a big role to play this season.
Hopefully this will be the first of many accolades that Clarke gets for Leeds.
Joining Clarke on the Team of the Week was goalkeeper Christoffer Mafoumbi from Blackpool FC, defender Darragh Lenihan of Blackburn Rovers, former West Ham United and Aston Villa defender James Collins of Ipswich Town, defender Greg Taylor of Cambridge United, former Leeds midfielder Alex Mowatt of Barnsley FC, midfielder Jack Bridge of Northampton Town, Middlesbrough midfielder Lewis Wing, midfielder Kevin Stewart of Hull City, striker Paris Cowan-Hall of Wycombe Wanderers, and finally Wigan Athletic winger Anthony Pilkington.
