Leeds United put out a statement earlier today about the “spying” allegations from Derby County that were raised before Friday’s match. Leeds went on to play the match and had a decisive 2-0 victory over Derby at Elland Road.

Per the club’s official website:
Following comments made by Marcelo Bielsa yesterday the club will look to work with our head coach and his staff to remind them of the integrity and honesty which are the foundations that Leeds United is built on.
Our owner Andrea Radrizzani has met with Derby County’s owner Mel Morris to formally apologise for Marcelo’s actions.
We will make no further comment on this matter.
Whatever action follows from here will likely have to come from the FA, as the club has apologized to the offended parties. Hopefully this will put the issue to rest, but we all know it won’t. Let’s just hope that whatever penalty that is issued by the FA will come quickly and not be too severe, given the nature of the “offence.”
