Liam Cooper spoke to the assembled press after the loss to Birmingham City last Saturday, and he spoke about while one loss isn’t the end of the world, but the club needs to “put it right” in this next game against Sheffield Wednesday.
“One thing you don’t want is to get beat twice on the bounce.” Liam Cooper looking for a quick response as Leeds prepare for Friday’s derby at Sheffield Wednesday:https://t.co/L50wEfmeqr

There’s not a team in the league who deserves or has the right to not be at it for 20 minutes, and we’ve learnt the hard way. That’s the way it is.
But we’ll be back in to put it right, we’ll have a tough week (of training) and we’ve got a massive game on Friday night. In this league, one thing you don’t want to do is to be getting beat twice on the bounce so we’ll be looking to put it right.
Last year everything went to hell after the team slid down the table, and the loss away to Sheffield Wednesday was one of the defining losses of the season, and if Leeds are to rebound properly after a bad defeat, they need to beat Wednesday to stay on top of the table. A lack of a League Cup match will certainly help the team be fresh.
