Marcelo Bielsa isn’t about to take the bait from Millwall manager Neil Harris.
Bielsa not wanting to be drawn on Neil Harris' comments. Did say that behaviour doesn't relate to whether you are foreign or not. "If the river has too much water in it, you have to consider the reasons why." In other words, you have to look at why Leeds celebrated as they did.— Phil Hay (@PhilHayYEP) September 17, 2018
Even though the two managers spoke after the match and Neil Harris seemed content at the post-match press conference, Harris felt the need to call Leeds & the celebration by the players as a “disgrace to English football” which would be hilarious if it wasn’t uttered by the manager of a team that really is a disgrace to English football.
Bielsa didn’t take the bait, and honestly, who does Harris think he is? Then again, if I was the manager of Millwall (eww) and my team just surrendered a late equalizer, I’d probably be finding things other than my team’s performance to call attention to from the press in London.
And seriously, Turkish flags, throat-slitting gestures, and general f*ckery from Millwall fans? There is one team that is a disgrace, and they aren’t based in Yorkshire.
