Marcelo Bielsa was generally happy with how Leeds played in the League Cup match against Bolton at Elland Road last night.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, he said:
We dominated the game and we had many offensive actions but when you’re winning just by one goal, it’s not enough. You’re always a little bit worried.
(Bolton) had a situation where they could score again but generally the offensive performance of our team was good enough. We could have won by a difference of two or more goals
Leeds did well to score two goals in the first half and saw out the match, but Bielsa was right in that on another night Patrick Bamford would have finished more than just one chance and Jack Harrison easily could have had two goals.
These things will come with time, as the players are creating the chances, and that’s the hard part. A couple shots get hit better and Leeds run away with the game.
