Marcelo Bielsa stopped by the U23 match played at Guiseley yesterday evening to see how the U23s were up to. Perhaps he had time to see how Yosuke Ideguchi did with the kids.

Bielsa has said that Ideguchi isn’t in his plans this season, but perhaps if he keeps these kinds of efforts up in the in U23s, then maybe Ideguchi will get some playing time with the big team after all. The whole team seemed to impressed against Coventry City.

It likely won’t be today in the League Cup, as Ideguchi did play for the U23s, but hey, tomorrow’s a new day, right?
