Better late than never is probably the best way to describe Leeds United’s transfer activity. But the additions of Douglas, Harrison and Bamford in the last 10 days have added genuine quality to Bielsa’s squad. If we can add a couple of high class signings before the window closes then we could be real promotion challengers.
There are probably two positions left that need filling. First is a replacement for Ronaldo Vieira.
Swansea City in talks with Brentford over midfielder Ryan Woods with West Brom and Leeds United circling #swans https://t.co/Fyq21fa8sk

Ryan Woods would be the perfect replacement for Vieira. He absolutely played us off the park at Griffin Park last season and has been a consistent Championship performer for a number of years. The fact that he is attracting interest from Swansea City, West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa shows how highly he is regarded by the Championship big boys. If Leeds can use the money gained from Vieira’s departure to bring in Woods then we will have signed a top quality midfielder.
The other area that still really needs strengthening is at center back. With just Pontus and Cooper as our two recognised central defenders, a new addition - either as first choice or back up - would be welcome.

For those not fluent in Turkish, this tweet is suggesting that Leeds are interested in Jason Denayer - a Belgian international defender - who is currently on at Galatasaray from Manchester City. This would probably be the signing of the summer if we pulled it off. He is a top quality centre back, comfortable on the ball and rock solid in the tackle. If Bielsa could convince Pep to loan Denayer for the season then we would have the best centre back in the Championship, bar none.
