Patrick Bamford looks to be set for a medical today at Leeds, with a rumoured fee of £7 million seemed to be agreed. The Middlesbrough striker has seemed to fall down the pecking order at the Riverside Stadium and so it looks like he’ll be off to Leeds, with the two clubs agreeing the fee over the weekend.

It’s not Vydra, although that deal’s been rumoured to on and off so many times, it’s almost impossible to keep track of the developments. He’s been spotted in the Leeds city centre, after all, but still no deal with him.

Bamford will provide a target man for Leeds and Marcelo Bielsa, something that the team missed greatly last year. Having Luke Ayling, Barry Douglas bombing in crosses from the wings, and with Pablo Hernandez sending in good balls into the box from all over the pitch? It’s going to be great to see a striker that can score with his head.

On to the links.
