Leeds United have released the new player kit numbers ahead of the new season. Today, Leeds unveiled the refurbished Bremner Square and on Friday, the new kit is launched. Notable changes have been made including for the number one shirt and the numbers for loaners Lewis Baker and Jamal Blackman. Bailey Peacock-Farrell jumped from number 30 to grab number one while fellow keeper Blackman will wear number 27. As seen during pre-season, Lewis Baker will sport the number 34 and Tyler Roberts will take the number 11 following Jay-Roy Grot’s loan move. Ronaldo Viera said during his first season in pro football that he would take the number eight soon, and now he has. Samuel Saiz takes number 14, previously the number of Eunan O’Kane. Tom Pearce wore 46 last campaign and has now moved to number 20 while youngster Edmondson goes from 53 to 39. Players such as Sacko, O’Kane and Ekuban are missing from the list while numbers 3, 5 and 9 are open, with the number three hopefully being filled by Barry Douglas should he sign on, while the Whites also look for a new striker and centre-half.
