It’s only a friendly. Results of friendlies don’t matter (much).

An inexperienced Leeds United side lost 4-3 against Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium.
Leeds were 3-0 down after an abject first half which we were unable to cover properly due to the well-publicised lack of service from LUTV.

The second half was a vast improvement with first senior Leeds goals from Tyler Roberts, Lewis Baker, and Jack Clarke making the score much more respectable than it looked like it would be at one point.

Ryan Edmondson had a goal disallowed in the second half and there were also positives in Jamal Blackman making his debut replacing Will Huffer at Half-Time, and the impressive performance of Jamie Shackleton playing in an unfamiliar right-wing-back role.
Leeds also revealed their new kit, to be released on 27th June, to a muted reaction (mostly due to the design being leaked on twitter several hours before).

General reaction to the new kit was positive, as it normally is when a Leeds home kit is simple and as much of it as possible is kept white. Although the socks came in for some criticism.
Seeing the "Leeds United" on the socks makes me believe this was the kit for the new badge, the emphasis on the name of the club in the new badge. #LUFC @LUFC pic.twitter.com/Gvt21GRWOQ
