That was Leeds that played last night, right?
You can already see the difference in how Marcelo Bielsa has the team playing.
this Leeds team is pressing in packs, as soon as a FGR player gets the ball, he's closed down immediately with two or three players right on him, forcing a mistake and a turnover. it's such a change from last year— Thru It All Together (@ThruItAllLUFC) July 17, 2018
Managed to see the last 25mins live. Glimpses of really good football, couple of sloppy moments (To be expected), energy levels looked good for this part of the season.— Mighty Whites Pod (@mightywhitespod) July 17, 2018
Main takeaway. It is so good to see Leeds pressing the opposition instead of sitting off them. #lufc #MOT
Bielsa is known as the “high priest of the high press” and if Leeds can play the way they did against Forest Green the whole season, it will be brilliant. The team played amazing.
Of course, it will be interesting to see how the team plays against York City on Thursday and see who is used where and in what position.
