Luke Ayling is ready for some matches to be played. Aren’t we all, Luke, aren’t we all.

Leeds United’s preseason friendlies begin next week, with the first of them being a trip on Tuesday 17 July to visit the “vegan club” Forest Green Rovers. And while you might not be able to get a beef burger or a meat pie on the menu at The New Lawn, you will be able to see the team take the pitch for the first time under Marcelo Bielsa.

Should be interesting, even if it’s against a team that barely avoided relegation from League Two last season. If you’re going, let me know how the vegan food tasted.

On to the links.
