Leeds United have been looking for a deal with Birmingham City for goalkeeper David Stockdale recently, but it appears that the efforts have hit a snag.

Leeds have reportedly had their loan offer rebuffed by Birmingham for the boyhood Leeds fan Stockdale. Birmingham are rumoured to want a permanent deal for Stockdale while Leeds are said to be more interested in a loan move. Birmingham landed Stockdale on a free after he refused a new contract at Brighton & Hove Albion after their promotion to the Premier League.

Stockdale reportedly wants a move to Leeds and Leeds want him, but will a deal get done? Stockdale’s been frozen out at Birmingham and he’ll eventually leave, but will it be to Leeds? Time will tell.
