The day is finally here.
It’s been a long time since Leeds fans have had this much excitement surrounding the appointment of a new manager, but here we are.

There is no script for this, because the past “big” names to come to the club, names like Jock Stein or Brian Clough, were not in the modern era of football. The gap between the “haves” and the “have-nots” of English football have never been so wide, with all of the money in the Premier League, nor was the world so interconnected with players moving across international boundaries so easily as they do today.
An Argentine legend as the manager of an second division English club. Total madness. Both sides have a lot to lose if this doesn’t work out, and both have a lot to gain if it does.
Here’s hoping it does.
