The “high priest of the high press” has an aggressive preseason planned for Leeds players.
The players will be tested for fitness early and often under Bielsa, as he requires his teams to run constantly and to put pressure on the other team in their half.
'Players who #Bielsa has already deemed surplus to requirements will either leave the club or be sent to train with the Under-23s.' #LUFC https://t.co/7OAu7F9YZY

Besides the work that the players will be put through, the quote about the “surplus” players either leaving or going to train with the U23s should also put some players on notice. There seemed to be a lot of passengers last season, with Paul Heckingbottom hinting about frustration with players, none of which will be tolerated at all under Bielsa. He also should command the respect of everyone with his CV.
Sounds like Felix Wiedwald will not be the last to leave the club this summer, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
