There are lots of numbers that define this season, but these numbers are pretty damning.
Leeds’ record against the current top six this season - 5 points from 11 games. Would have been 2 points from 11 games had Sheffield United held on against Cardiff. #lufc

Leeds have been poor during this run in 2018, contrasting against the run the team was on back in August and September. However, just beating the Burton Albions of the world at home isn’t good enough to get into the top six, much less challenge for promotion. Leeds looked poor against bad teams like Sheffield Wednesday and Reading, but an inability to even get draws against the good teams doesn’t bode well. Beating up on the bad teams might get Leeds near the top six, but being bad against the top teams will certainly not get you promoted.
