Well, this is a pretty ugly statistic.

If you thought that Pierre-Michel Lasogga, Jay-Roy Grot and Caleb Ekuban had bad games against Villa, you would be entirely correct.

Four.

Four passes completed by three forwards in the match against Aston Villa.

Grot did not even complete one pass the time he was on the pitch, almost a half-hour, and Ekuban completed three all match. Lasogga, the veteran of the group, had ONE completed pass. He’s being paid close to 35k a week by Hamburger SV to NOT play football for them and they are looking like they’re going to be relegated.

Hey, PML. A word of advice. If you want to play in the Premier League next year, make sure your agent burns all the copies of this match, because if teams see this effort, you’ll be lucky to be playing for York City in the Vanarama National League North next season.

On to the links.
