Paul Heckingbottom says everyone was surprised about speculation regarding his future at Leeds Untied.
Seriously?

This team has been awful for all of 2018, and it’s been discussed at length just how much the team has looked just as bad, if not worse, under Heckingbottom than it did under Thomas Christiansen. And while injuries and suspension have played a part, the only real long-term injuries to Leeds under Heckingbottom have been Conor Shaughnessy and Luke Ayling. And while the record without Ayling has been shocking, it would be slightly ludicrous to suggest that Ayling being out has been responsible for the drop in form.
So is it shocking that people are speculating about Heckingbottom’s future? Absolutely not. It would be shocking if there wasn’t.
