The U18s had another good performance yesterday, beating Hull City 5-1. High-profile teenager Kun Temenuzhkov had two goals and Bobby Kanwa, who recently signed a professional contract with the club, also got a goal.
One of the bright spots this season has been the performances of the youth coming through the system. The first team has had a gut-wrenching collapse since Boxing Day, but both the U18s and U23s have been tearing up their respective divisions.
Does this bode well for the future of the club? Let’s hope so.
