The U23s got a good win today away at Portman Road, taking on the Ipswich Town U23 and winning 3-2.

The club posted a recap of the match on its website, and it’s worth noting that almost all of the U23s playing right now are new to the club. At least 10 of the 14 who played yesterday are new additions. Serious questions need to be asked of the recruitment when it comes to the first team, but it looks like the recruitment on the U23 side seems to be working out, at least at the Academy level. Even as this season has turned into a dumpster fire, the number of good young players that will be coming through in the next couple years gives Leeds fans some hope.
