The “Beast from the East” will not interrupt the Middlesbrough v Leeds United match this evening, as everything will go ahead as planned and the match will start on time.
Middlesbrough is also warning visitors to leave plenty of time to get the to Riverside Stadium. Additionally, if you are driving, they recommend not trying to park by the ground, per Middlesbrough’s official website:
All the main routes into Middlesbrough are clear, but fans travelling to the game are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
We are encouraging fans without pre-booked car parking to utilise the free parking available in the town centre, and complete the journey on foot. The stadium is a 10-minute walk from the town centre and all footways have been cleared
Confirmation that tonight's game will take place as planned ⚽️
