Current Bristol City winger Ryan Kent has nothing but positive things to say about his time at Barnsley FC and his time playing under Paul Heckingbottom.

Ryan Kent, the Liverpool winger who is currently on loan at Bristol City after spending a short, unhappy spell loan spell at SC Freiburg in the Bundesliga the first half of this season, played for Heckingbottom last season. About his time playing for Heckingbottom, Kent said, “He was a fantastic manager. That was probably my biggest season so far in terms of development. He really allowed me to go and express myself and I wish him all the best at Leeds.”
Leeds was linked with Kent last summer, so who knows? If Kent liked playing with Heckingbottom, maybe he’ll want to come play at Leeds next season? We can hope anyways. Here’s hoping Kent likes his old boss so much he knocks the ball into his own net for a winning goal.
On to the links.
