Leeds United has won again! Well, Pablo Hernandez has won at least.

Pablo Hernandez won the PFA Championship fans’ Player of the Month Award for November, as the Leeds winger scored three goals in four matches for Leeds, helping the club to an impressive 3-0-1 record for the month.

This is the second time that Hernandez has won the PFA fans’ Player of the Month Award, as he also picked up the award back in August. Hernandez beat out five competitors to pick up the award this month, with Tammy Abraham and Alan Hutton from Aston Villa, Emi Buendia and Teemu Pukki from Norwich City, and Joe Lolley from Nottingham Forest also nominated for the award.
Astute Leeds fans will remember that Buendia played last season at Cultural Leonesa, Leeds United’s “partner club” in Spain, where he had an impressive season, even if the team was not as successful. Buendia was linked with a possible move to Leeds, although the hiring of Marcelo Bielsa seemed to end the interest in a lot of previous transfer targets.
So again, congratulations to Pablo Hernandez for winning yet another award this season. Hopefully after this season is all done, Hernandez and other Leeds players will have picked up a few more pieces of hardware along the way.
