Samu Saiz says goodbye to Leeds.
Excited to be going home to Spain, but massive thank you to my teammates, staff and fans @LUFC who always treated me well. Special thank you to Victor and Marcelo for being understanding. I hope the club gets back to where it belongs this season #LUFC #MOT https://t.co/GSMI19IPkz— Samuel Sáiz Alonso (@Samusaiz) December 18, 2018
He thanked the fans and city and the bosses at Leeds for being “understanding” about his desire to move back to Spain and Madrid (Getafe is on the outskirts of Madrid). If it’s the rumoured family issue that has taken him back home, then well, most fans would understand. And plus, it appears that Leeds have doubled their money on him, which is a strange thing: Leeds, making a good transfer deal? Surely not.
