Morning Leeds-in for 17 December: No, really, Pablo Hernandez is really good

The best stats are those that confirm the eye test, that tell explain what we see on the pitch. Turns out the stats back up that Pablo Hernandez is really good.

He’s had a career renaissance since joining Leeds, and over the past two years he’s been by far the best player for the club.

Now with Samu Saiz moving on back to Spain with Getafe, might we see Hernandez move to the enganche or number 10 role in the side? Perhaps, as he looked very comfortable in that role in the second half and has played a lot of his career there. It would allow Jack Clarke to start as well, although Marcelo Bielsa seems to like putting Clarke on in the second half as a way of injecting energy in the side, so we’ll see.

Anyway, on to the links.
