Bolton v Leeds: Matchday Thread and Lineups

Leeds United are at Bolton Wanderers today, as the team looks to start life in the Championship without Samu Saiz, as it appears he’s off to Spain to join up with Getafe almost immediately, despite the transfer window not set to open for another two weeks.

If Leeds are to figure out how to play without Saiz, then Bolton is as good of an opponent as any, with the team struggling on and off the pitch. The team has even taken to banning journalists from the local press because of “negative” coverage of the team, as if a club that is in the relegation zone and had trouble making payroll has nothing but sunshine and rainbows to talk about.

Kalvin Phillips looks to be playing in central defence again, with Lewis Baker coming into midfield and Jamie Shackleton will once again play as a right back.
