Marcelo Bielsa wants to take Patrick Bamford’s recovery slowly, but the striker might have other ideas on when he can play in the first team.

Bamford scored a hat trick in the Leeds U23s destruction of Burnley, with Lewis Baker, Izzy Brown, Jack Clarke, and Jack Harrison all looking impressive. Does this mean that Bamford is ready for the weekend’s match against Bolton Wanderers? Bielsa might want Bamford to take it slow, but if he keeps tearing up the U23s, Bamford might force Bielsa’s hand.
