Some football managers drone on about things no one cares about in press conferences. Some talk about their opponents in very guarded tones. Some swear (looking at you, Mick McCarthy). Marcelo Bielsa? He talks about the philosophy of football.
Bielsa up now. Talking about providing an entertaining style of football: "When a team doesn't get what it deserves, sooner or later the fans punish the lack of results. The lack of tolerance regarding results is stronger than the lack of tolerance when style is not beautiful."

Yeah, Bielsa is right that the obsession with results means that teams would rather not lose ugly than lose pretty, which makes sense from a busines standpoint, but stinks from a football fan’s point of view. After all, why do you think that managers like Tony Pulis and Big Sam Allardyce keep getting jobs in football? For most Premier League teams, 40 points is a trophy, no matter how horrible the football.
Anyway, Leeds are a joy to watch right now and we should all enjoy it.
