Leeds United finally released a new kit today by releasing a yellow “third” kit ahead of Saturday’s clash against West Bromwich Albion.
And yes, it’s a proper Leeds kit, with a yellow top and blue shorts, along with yellow shorts. Both the sleeves and the socks have blue and white stripes on them. Last year’s black away kit was nice enough, but it just didn’t feel like “Leeds” whereas this new third kit looks like a Leeds kit is supposed to look like.
Why release a new kit in November? Why not. At least it’s new before the holiday season so plenty of people can purchase one for their favourite Leeds fan.

Per the club’s official website:
The electric strip will be worn for the very first time when the squad take on West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Saturday evening, live on Sky Sports.
The new third kit is a nod to our past traditional away colours with the shirt striking yellow in colour featuring a round neck and short sleeves with a blue and white stripe trim. The front of the shirt features a club crest along with a bold blue 32Red logo and the distinctive Kappa omini-logo in the top left corner – with junior shirts featuring club sponsor Utilita across the front of the shirt.
Our proud club motto ‘Marching on Together’ is very subtly embossed onto the front of the shirt in a vertical text pattern with ‘Leeds United’ woven onto the reverse collar of the shirt along with official secondary shirt sponsor Clipper which features further down the reverse of the shirt.
The shorts are royal blue in colour featuring a club crest, yellow Kappa lettering and a Kappa-omini logo on both sides. The socks for the third kit are an electric yellow and like the shirt also feature the blue and white stripe pattern with ‘Leeds United’ lettering on one side and the Kappa omini-logo on the other side, all in blue.
The new third strip is available to purchase as a Kombat kit which is a regular fit or there is a Bodyfit Pro version which features a high performance fabric and is used by the first-team players.
And no story about a kit is complete without a link to purchase it. Alternatively, you can stop by the one of the club’s official stores to pick one up.
