So Leeds has a pretty brilliant defensive record from open play. Of course, the record from set pieces isn’t so hot, but hey, whatever.
Leeds have conceded just FOUR goals from open play excluding any set-piece involvement in 16 @SkyBetChamp matches, fewer than any other side in the division. Very difficult to break down in normal play, but too vulnerable from set plays (9/13 goals conceded from set-pieces) #LUFC pic.twitter.com/eQe0uWTrhZ

Leeds have conceded 69.23% of their goals from set pieces this season, which would be a pretty dismal stat if it wasn’t for the fact that they’ve only allowed 13 goals all season, which is pretty good.
For all the hype about Marcelo Bielsa’s system being so attacking, it’s interesting that the defensive side of the ball has been so vastly improved from last season.
