Huffer, an England U21 international, and Halme, a Finland U21 international, will be taking the place of injured first team players. Huffer comes in for Northern Ireland goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell, who picked up a knock in training after Chelsea loanee Jamal Blackman broke his leg over the international break while playing for the U23s against Birmingham City.
Halme joined Leeds last January from HJK Helsinki, but injury delayed his debut for the U23s until this autumn. He is forced into action because of injuries to Pontus Jansson, Luke Ayling, and Gaetano Berardi.
This match will be on LUTV or iFollow/ BRTV so prepare to pony up the cash if you’re watching it from overseas. There are no legal streams for folks in the UK, but if you feel like blowing up your laptop, I’m sure that there are options out there for you.
Can Leeds overcome a debut of a central defender and a goalkeeper to get a result against a Bristol City side that hasn’t been great this season? Or will the injuries finally catch up to Leeds?
Let us know in the comments.
