The theme for Leeds United’s loaned-out players this week was 12 of the 14 non-injured players seeing the field at some point. Paudie O’Connor, Tyler Denton, and Hadi Sacko all emerged from the bench and were able to make appearances for the first time in over a month. There were also two goals this week, one coming from O’Connor against Arsenal, and the other was from Pawel Cibicki for Molde FK.
Jay-Roy Grot - FW, VVV-Venlo
Grot came on as a sub in the 90th minute for Venlo and was unable to touch the ball more than twice. It is the second week in a row that the 21-year-old has been a substitute, and he ended up playing the full 90 minutes in an embarrassing 2-0 loss to AZ Alkmaar in the KNVB on Wednesday.
Mallik Wilks - FW, Doncaster Rovers
Wilks played for 58 minutes before he was subbed off at Coventry this weekend, which marked his 16th appearance of the season.
Paudie O’Connor - CB, Blackpool FC
O’Connor did not play in Blackpool’s loss to Fleetwood and Lewie Coyle this Saturday, but he did manage to start for their cup match against Arsenal on Wednesday. It was O’Connor’s first start in over a month for Blackpool, and he certainly drew attention to his play, as he scored the Seasiders’ only goal and was shown a red card for a late challenge on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. It was a pretty soft challenge for a red though, and Aubameyang sold it well.
Laurens de Bock - LB, K.V. Oostende
De Bock was on the bench for the entirety of Lokeren’s 0-0 draw with Oostende, who oddly did not make a single substitute .
Paweł Cibicki - FW, Molde FK
Pawel Cibicki managed to score for the second time this season, and it was a beauty in the 54th minute against Start.
He uses his chest to take the ball into the only open space in the box, and then he somehow volleys the ball in between the oncoming defender and the goalkeeper, who rushes to the near post. Hopefully, the young forward will be able to find the back of the net more often this year.
Lewie Coyle - RB, Fleetwood Town
Two long goals from outside the box and a chip off of a cross were enough for Fleetwood to take down Blackpool 3-2. Coyle played for the entire match and continued to struggle to make a noticeable impact on the offense, though he plays well defensively.
Tyler Denton, LB, Peterborough United
Tyler Denton finally made his first league start of the season for Peterborough, and helped his side win 2-1 over Burton Albion. He also gave this nice interview after the match:

Liam Kitching - LB, Harrogate Town AFC
Kitching and Harrogate rebounded from a 4 match winless streak with a 4-2 victory against Barrow. Kitching was not subbed out and was able to help create chances on the wing.
Vurnon Anita - CM, Willem II
Anita finally started for the first time this year, and the veteran midfielder made a case for himself to see more playing time in the future. He completed 77% of his passes, had 2 tackles, and was dispossessed only once.
Hadi Sacko - RM, UD Las Palmas
Hadi Sacko made a rare appearance when he came on the in the 78th minute for Las Palmas in a 2-2 draw against Mallorca. Unfortunately, he earned a yellow card less than five minutes afterwards and did not do much else.
Alex Machuca - FW, Burgos CAM
Good news for Machuca this weekend, as the young attacking midfielder finally reclaimed a position in Burgos’ starting eleven. Once again, his team switched formations, this time to a 4-4-1-1 (or 4-5-1), which allowed the 20-year-old to play alongside Adrian Cruz and Jagoba Beobide in the center of the pitch. This strategy did not work out well for Burgos, who tied 0-0 with the Las Palmas B team, but it is a step in the right direction for Machucha.
“Nos juntamos todos en el vestuario, nos miramos a la cara y dijimos que tenemos que cambiar esto como sea.”@alex7machuca muestra su predisposición a evitar nuevos bajones en su rendimiento que le resten protagonismo.

Adrián Balboa - FW, Terrassa FC
Balboa spent Terrassa’s 2-1 win against San Cristobal on the bench.
Oriol Rey - CM, UB Conquense
Rey did not an impact during his time on the field in Conquense’s 0-0 draw with CD Ebro.
Oliver Šarkić - FW, Barakaldo CF
Šarkić was subbed on in the 73rd minute for Barakaldo and had a shot on target. Barakaldo beat Langreo 1-0 and now sit in second place in their division.
Eunan O’Kane - CM, Luton Town
O’Kane is out for the year with a broken leg.
Yosuke Ideguchi - CM, Greuther Fürth
Ideguchi is out for the year with a partially torn PCL.
