Morning Leeds-in for 23 October: Kalvin Phillips praised Jack Clarke, but will Bielsa listen?

The Jack Clarke fan club is growing by the minute around Leeds, and it appears that Kalvin Phillips is the president, founder, and spokesman for the club.

Phillips, who has been one of the surprise players of the season under Marcelo Bielsa, said:

He’s a massive talent. He’s been training with us since the start of the season and we’ve always known that he’s the type of player who can take people on and get the people excited.

He did that (at Blackburn) and if he carries on working like he has done then he’ll get better and better.

So will Bielsa use the youngster in the side? It wouldn’t hurt to have Clarke in the lineup, even if Pablo Hernandez can play the full 90 minutes. Neither Kemar Roofe nor Tyler Roberts looked 100% comfortable on the wing and as much as we all love Stuart Dallas’ flexibility, Gjanni Alioski should probably be played at left back until Barry Douglas gets back.

On to the links.
