Morning Leeds-in for 15 January: Tale of the tape says that Eunan O’Kane’s red will stand

So yeah, the red card isn’t gonna get rescinded.

After the match, Thomas Christiansen thought that the club should appeal the red card against Eunan O’Kane, claiming that the Ipswich Town player had basically dived to draw the red card.

And yeah, TC has a point. The Ipswich player does go down like he’s been shot, however, the headbutt is clear as day on the video of the incident. It’s disappointing that O’Kane would choose that time of the match to lose his head, but here we are.

Another player banned because of a red card, and we’re only a couple bad Kalvin Phillips tackles away from playing volunteers from the stands in the middle of midfield. If only the club had a central midfielder on loan they could recall.
