The fourth round of the League Cup draw was held today, and Leeds United will once again be on the road, this time with a visit to Premier League side Leicester City.

Leicester City famously came out of nowhere to win the Premier League two years ago, but had a much rougher time last season. The team sacked the Premier League winning manager, Claudio Ranieri about halfway through the season last year. Ranieri was also rumoured to be in for the Leeds manager job, but those rumours turned out to be false as the new owners replaced Garry Monk with Thomas Christiansen.

Leicester City has lost a few players to Chelsea in the past couple of years, with N’Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater both making the switch to Stamford Bridge. However, they still have a number of good players, including a pair of Algeria internationals in Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani. Jamie Vardy, the England international, is still at the King Power Stadium as well.

Leeds will fancy this visit to a mid-table Premier League side, as perhaps they can catch the team napping, as they did against Burnley yesterday.

The matches will take place the week of 23 October.
