It's prediction time once again! Leeds United take on the Harry Redknapp Redknappers at Elland Road, so the staff at Through It All Together are casting our predictions. Agree or disagree with us? Let it be known in the comments below and/or on twitter @ThruItAllLUFC with your predictions! MOT
Pete Schlenker: 3-0 Leeds over Birmingham City. Harry Redknapp visits with a Birmingham City team that doesn't appear any better than the team that was lucky to avoid relegation last year. Leeds are rolling and the Tuesday night crowd should be up to back the lads in full voice. I can't see Birmingham stopping Leeds as their new signings haven't had time to gel and Leeds looks too good at the back to give up any goals
Mike Stehlik: Birmingham City, in my opinion, are a team that is better than their form shows. I think the blues do have a couple (roughly speaking) quality players -Che Adams, Jota, Jeremie Boga, Harlee Dean among a few more- that can slow down the total domination Leeds will eventually attain. I’d like to see how Andy Lonergan does with the usual starting XI. Lonergan or Wiedwald, I think we finally concede a goal here. A clean sheet streak is cool, but we don't have to get all emotional about it once we do concede a goal. It'd be like cleaning your room and getting mad that the dust you wiped off is gonna come back; it's gonna happen. That being said, I think the Samu Sáiz taking-a-piss-all-over-the-Championship tour will continue. It sounds crazy to propose that the Spaniard could score a brace and bag an assist, but it's been a crazy start of the year for Leeds, one like we haven't had for a while. Sáiz bags 2, I think it's time Pontus Jansson finds the scoresheet, and either Kemar Roofe or Prime Minister Lasogga score for a final score of 4-1 Leeds. MOT
Leo Bownas: Gonna go for 3-1 Leeds. Will be confident after thrashing Burton and I don't see Birmingham as a threat coming to Elland Road due to their very average start to the season. Lassoga to score first and Saiz to score two.
Jack Robshaw: Leeds 3-1 Birmingham (Lasogga, Roofe, Jansson: Jota)
In current form, I again can't see the opposition preventing Leeds from scoring a few goals. Defensively we have been fantastic but I don't see us keeping a clean sheet purely because the thought of 6 straight clean sheets in the league is too good to be true. Jansson nearly got on the end of a couple of corners against Burton and I think he is due to a goal
