After the 5-0 beat down of Burton, Nigel Clough was full of praise for Leeds, saying that the club was “excellent” from the first minute onward.

Well, of course he’s gonna say that. What is he going to say, his team was crap? I mean, they might be total crap, but Leeds were still very good Saturday and cruised to an easy victory over the out-classed Brewers.

Hamburger SV lost their first match without Pierre-Michel Lasogga, as they were beat at home by RB Leipzig. He’s probably more mature than me, because I’d send a text to my ex-manager saying “HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW” with the scoreline of the Leeds-Burton match, but I guess since he’s on loan, no reason to burn bridges or anything.
