Young full-back Tyler Denton has yet to make his Championship debut for the Whites, and it looks as though we will have to wait even longer for this to happen.
According to multiple reports, Leeds United are on the verge of completing the signing of Cameron Borthwick-Jackson on loan from Manchester United. With a young and promising left-back coming to the club, it looks as though Tyler Denton will be heading away from Elland Road in search for first team football and good development. Port Vale have been linked with a move for Denton, and that move can only benefit the young talent.
Port Vale have spoken out recently about bringing in new signings, and even though Port Vale boss Michael Brown didn't specify who he was going to sign, we feel that Tyler Denton will be in a Port Vale kit this season. Michael Brown said in an interview that "we are adding to the squad and hopefully will get another one by Monday which will help us as well. So we are getting a better squad, slowly but surely, and it is going to take time."

The loan deal is expected to be finalized sometime this week.
Currently at the club, Leeds have Vurnon Anita and Gaetano Berardi who can play on the left side of defence, but it is clear that Christiansen does not see them as everyday left-backs.
At this point in Denton's career, another season in the U23 side is not something we would want.
The 21 year old and former England U17 international has made 3 senior appearances for Leeds, and even notching himself a goal against Luton Town in the EFL Cup.

Not to worry though my fellow fans. Denton is clearly a piece in Christiansen's future plans, as Tyler just recently signed a new 3 year deal to extend his time with the club he has spent his whole youth and senior career with.
What do you think? Is Cameron Borthwick-Jackson the answer? Or should we keep Tyler Denton? Let us know!
