As usual, the silly season is upon us.

From Liverpool fans crashing a flight tracking website looking for information on a private plan headed to Mersyside from Bournemouth to Leeds fans using floor tiles to determine the identity of a defender in a picture, it’s a crazy time for fans.

To add to the confusion for Leeds fans, everyone’s favorite Leeds-based football writer, Phil Hay, is on holiday, leading the other journalists to post conflicting stories about the status of transfer rumors. Good times.

Anyway, it was confirmed late last night by Hamburger SV on twitter that Pierre-Michel Lasogga was set to join Leeds United on loan, with the club expected to officially introduce him in the morning.
