There are several outlets linking Manchester United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson with a loan move to Elland Road.
The player, who can play at left-back or centre-back, is not expected to be in Jose Mourinho’s first team plans and would provide an option in two positions that Leeds undoubtedly do not have enough depth in.
The player was heavily linked earlier in the summer but the links have come back stronger this time around.
As I've said a few times it was going to take a bit of time but Leeds expected to loan Cameron Borthwick-Jackson on loan from Man U #lufc

Leeds expected to sign Cameron Borthwick-Jackson on loan from Man United.

Borthwick-Jackson spent last season on loan at Wolves but struggled to stay in the side, only making 6 league appearances. The club hired Paul Lambert and from then on he struggled to get even in the squad, never mind the starting line-up.
Genuinely concerned about Cameron Borthwick-Jackson. Wolves loan has been hellish. Hasn't played at all since Lambert took over.

However, he was highly rated by Louis Van Gaal during his time in charge at Old Trafford and got some senior football for them at left-back after the team lost a few players to injury.
According to Leeds fans, the jury is out over the potential new signing.
Only managed 6 starts at Wolves, know a Wolves fan who doesn't think he'll cut the mustard, dunno tbh. Maybe we'll be his career catalyst!

Is Denton not getting a look in? #lufc i'd rather have Denton & Berardi than Borthwick-Jackson and Berardi.

It remains to be seen whether the deal even happens. He is definitely a signing that can play in positions the club needs but from the reviews I personally heard from Wolves fans he would be in and out of the side at best. The signing could also potentially allow Tyler Denton to go out on loan to further his development.
Not all outlets agree the move is as close as suggested however.
Sources close to Leeds United say Manchester United left back Cameron Borthwick-Jackson "is admired but no approach made currently". #lufc pic.twitter.com/ORszQe7aZh
