Leeds travel to Harrogate for the final per-season game before the league starts next week. The teams have met in the cup quite recently with Leeds winning out 5-1, but Harrogate will still be stiff opposition as they romped their league last year winning all of their league fixtures and gaining promotion.

Leeds will be taking a full squad to Harrogate so there should be a chance for existing first team players and development players to show the new interim first team coach Bob Wilkinson and director of football Dan Rahnavard what they are capable of.
Whatever has gone on prior to this match with some inconsistent results for Leeds may mean very little, the new look management structure will no doubt have their own ideas and way of dealing with game management and playing formations, one thing they have inherited though is a well coached team that has an abundance of ability and I am sure they will offer thanks to Lewis Atkinson for all the hard work he has put in to get the team this far.

The game kicks off at Harrogate Town today at 2pm and there will no doubt be a healthy crowd. Just a word of warning if you are thinking of going to the game, the parking locally is monitored very closely by the industrious parking enforcement officers, if you park on the grass outside the stadium, on a yellow line or a dropped kerb you will get a ticket as I have been told local residents contact the council directly and parking enforcement officers will attend.
Editor’s Note: Again, big thanks to Chris Routledge, Emmie Johnson, and everyone else at Leeds United Ladies Football Club for helping us with coverage of the women’s team at Leeds United. Harrogate isn’t that far of a journey, so if you’re free in the afternoon, head on over and check them out.
