Leeds United Ladies have some new faces on the touchline and behind the scenes at Elland Road.
First, the club has hired Dan Rahnavard as the new Director of Football for the Ladies team. Rahnavard is quoted by the Leeds United Ladies Facebook page as saying “I am delighted and proud to become the new Director of Football at what is an exciting time for Leeds United Ladies. I’m very much looking forward to playing my part in taking our talented staff and squad onto the next level and to the very height of women’s football. Where Leeds United Ladies ultimately belong.”
Rahnavard is a qualified coach and referee and has been a big advocate and supporter of women’s football. He is also a barrister and works at Manchester Metropolitan University as a lecturer of law.
